¶ How to change your password
Passwords are a way to authenticate a user against a system account. It should be strong, secure, and frequently changed. This guide will teach you how to change your USEK account password while making sure you this is a strong password.
¶ Create a new password

For the best security practices, please make sure that your password meets the minimum complexity requirements:
- Does Not contain the user's 'account name' : first Name, Last Name or ID.
- Be
ten to fifteen(10 to 15) characters in length. - Contains at least one character from at least three of four sets of characters:
Capital letters: A through ZSmall letters: a through zNumbers: 0 through 9Symbols: ! _ # $ % ^ & \ *
¶ Change your passowrd
¶ 1. To change your password when off-campus (from outside USEK)
¶ Using Outlook Online
- Login to Outlook online with your current USEK credentials.
- Go to your name tag at the top right of the page and click on it, then click on View account
- Click on Change password
- Follow the on-screen instructions (you need to enter your current/old password, then input your new password, and confirm it)
¶ 2. To change your password when on-campus (from inside USEK)
¶ Using a computer
USEK Staff and Faculty: Make sure you are on your domain joined office computer before proceeding
Students: You need to be connected via citrix in order to proceed
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard
- Click on
Change a password, and follow the on-screen instructions (you need to enter your current/old password, then input your new password, and confirm it)
¶ Using an online method
Any of the methods discussed above (in the off-campus section) can be aslo applied inside the campus
¶ Using a service desk officer assistance
You can pass by the service desk office on campus during working hours for a password reset assistance, or
